Zoltán Muzsnay (Debrecen): On the metizability of second-order ordinary differential equations

Our aim is to characterize second-order ordinary differential equations which
 can be derived as the geodesic equation of a Finsler metric.
 
 In this talk we
 consider the general situation but we also discuss the cases when the
 curvature is of special (constant or scalar) type.
