Commemoration of Kató Rényi


An excellent mathematician and teacher, Alfréd Rényi's wife, was born 100 years ago. In the slot of the Combinatorics seminar (October 24, 14:15, Nagyterem, Rényi Institute) there will be a commemoration of this occasion. Except the mathematical parts, it will be in Hungarian.

Halász Gábor fog beszélni Kató Komplex függvénytani kutatásairól, Simonovits Miklós a --- Katónak férjével közös --- a fák számára vonatkozó munkájáról, Katona Gyula személyes emlékeit mondja el. Ha valaki még szeretne valamit elmondani, örömmel vesszük. Jobb, ha előre szól, de elég a helyszínen is.
